Almost anything gets old. New projects keep me interested and that includes writing/publishing. I think I'm beginning to get it. If you are self publishing you are wearing so many different hats. I got two separate requests for material today from our publicist. It finally sunk in that much of what is produced for publicity is very different from writing novels. Duh! I had to get the stuff out the door pronto because of deadlines involving the people who need it. It is not possible to turn it around, do drafts and look for writing at the level of a novel. I'll just have to be clear about which hat I am wearing.
